Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

Ruling out impeachment without hearing the facts makes her equally culpable in my view. It's in her court but it would seem she's as guilty of war crimes as the shrub and dick and rummy and the rest of the traitorous bastards. FIrst woman speaker to be tried for treason?

TBone, read the Constitution. It holds the definition of exactly one crime: Treason. She'd have to be holding tea parties to raise money for Al Qaeda. As much as I detest her politics, she's pretty smart. She knew imeachment was never going to happen anyway. Ruling out her support for it was an olive branch to the other side, convincing a lot of Republicans that she's not the shrill, unreasonable were@!$%# that she often comes off as. Gotta give her props for scoring brownie points with the opposition by "giving" them something meaningless.

I was surprised when I came across it, and still do not know what to make of it, but their is a petition to remove Rep. Nancy Pelosi from the position of Speaker of the House.

It explains the mechanism by which this could be done. What surprised me the most is that it is not an impeachment or treason trial, it is more like demoting her back to regular Representative status and appointing someone else in her place.

It sounds pretty simple, I am sure it is anything but, and would cause a heck of a lot of chaos.

Wexler is heading the investigation into the Plame affair. He is intimately acquainted with Bush's crimes and attempts to conceal his crimes. I want the see both Bush and Cheney Impeached.

But how aggressively will Rep. Wexler act?

He sends out great emails to supporters, and I am sure he has seen somewhat of an uptick in campaign contributions, but he has not be very successful to persuade his peers in the House, nor has he effected much change in the Judiciary committee.

I want to give him the benefit of the doubt, but I am frustrated.

I'm pretty sure that the efforts are for not---seems pretty likely Pelosi made a back-room deal with Bush to get impeachment off the table some months ago...

Now that the all-caps yelling is out of the way. Would you mind sharing who it is you want out? There a few different groups of people involved here (the Republican party, The Democratic party, theBush/Cheney administration, Rep. Wexler, Rep. Kucinich, etc.). Who exactly are you talking about?

As long as the MSM continues to marginalize Mr. Kucinich (by orders of their Corporate Handlers), the People of this great country will continue to believe the same lies and smear tactics used against him in the Primary process.

Name calling, belittling the man's physical stature and looks, all part of the plan to ensure no one listens to the man with the method, means and fortitude to turn this country around.

McSame and Obama are nothing more than pre-approved (by the corporation) candidates who will do nothing to help the citizenry of this nation as long as their master holds the leash.

Vote for either of them, if you can stomach it, and you are doing the Corporate Masters bidding also.

You'd have much more affect emailing your senators and representatives asking them to endorse, cosponsor and support the move to impeach.

I just want to ask her why she's reached a conclusion without allowing the facts. I want to ask her why she let down her country. I want to ask her if it was her intent to drive the last remnants of the democratic party into a pile of horse@!$%# behind the Crawford spread.

Interesting that this is getting news coverage. Kucinich sponsored something similar concerning Dick Cheney in April of last year and I never heard word one about it. (of course I was in Iraq at the time, "fighting for freedom" (sarcasm btw).

Here is a link that I found very interesting concerning House Resolution 333 introduced last year.

http://kucinich.house.gov/SpotlightIssues/documents.htm

Let's hope that the people of the US will respond to this wake up call and take a good look at the desecration of the Constitution that has been leading us away from a free democratic society and toward tyranny.

My 2 scents

Thanks for your two cents, Billman.

H.Res. 333 and H.Res. 799 where both covered in the media. H.Res. 333 was actually covered in the mainstream press more than the current resolution in its first 24-hours.

Unfortunately, in both cases, the Democratic Party broadly and Speaker Nancy Pelosi specifically have "shelved" the resolutions at every opportunity.

If you would like to read more about these resolutions, I would refer you to the Newsvine Impeachment group were many seeds from various news sources have been collected since 2006.

I'd bet my retirement savings that this doesn't go anywhere. But it'll give the Bush-bashing crowd something to talk about for a while, so at least it's good for something.
